Each of us has his or her own role to play in the coming the kingdom of God. John the Baptist was called to be the herald of the Messiah, preparing the way of the Lord. To what is the Lord calling me?
Stewardship of Time and Talent: Every week the report on stewardship will include our gifts of time, talent and treasure. MINISTRY AND RECOGNITION CEREMONY: Again this year we would like to give thanks to all of you, who are involved in any ministry or group. On February 9th, 2008 in the Family Center, at 6:30 p.m., we will have our third annual Ministry and Recognition Ceremony. For the past two years, 24 members of the parish out of several hundred were specifically honored for their outstanding role as stewards. We would like to do so again this year. Help us honor parishioners who build community and make us feel that we belong, and
pray for those St. Ignatius, Martyr members who give of their time and talents. Ministry Recognition forms are available for you to fill out a person or persons you believe should receive special recognition.
INTERESTED IN HAVING EXTRA DEDUCTIONS FOR YOUR END OF THE YEAR TAXES FOR 2007? Consider sharing your monetary gifts to our parish. Remember that charitable donations are 100% deductible.
PLEASE WELCOME: Angélica Reyes to St. Ignatius, Martyr. Angélica will coordinate the Stewardship and Marketing areas for the parish and the school.
