Instead we hope that all will attend the Mass at the Cathedral at 10 a.m. celebrating the 90th anniversary of the apparitions at Fatima. Afterwards there will be a procession to the Capitol reciting the Rosary. (Processions are great professions of faith.)

Catholicism is based on Scripture, yet many Catholics know very little about the Bible. To help Catholics learn more about sacred Scripture, Bishop Gregory Aymond will present "The Word Dwells Among Us" at St. Ignatius, Martyr, Catholic Church on October 17th and 18th the celebration of the Year of the Word.

The first date is the bishop's presentation and the second is the evening of reflection offered by Patricia Stankus and Cheryl Maxwell. All presentations begin at 7 p.m. Simultaneous Spanish interpretation will be available.
