Students should report to their homeroom classrooms no later that 6:30 PM on Friday, December 14th for the Christmas Program. The following outlines what the students are asked to wear for the program:

Christmas Program Committee
The Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring a Blood Drive on December 15th, for the Parish account. This is a very important time to Donate with the Holidays approaching. You may schedule an appointment or if you have questions by calling Roger Ibarra, Jr. at 301-4979. This is to be from 8 a.m. till 12 noon in the Family Center. The Blood Drive is done through the Central Texas Blood and Tissue Center. Please give consideration to this cause.

First Friday/First Saturday Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Mothers Chapel.
You are invited to come and visit with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament from after the 12:05 PM Mass on Friday to the beginning of Mass on Saturday. Sign-up sheets are by each door. We need at least two people every hour.

Due to the unexpected illness of Mrs. Paula Ojeda St. Ignatius, Martyr, Catholic School will not be having cafeteria service on Monday, January 7, 2008. We ask that all students bring a sack lunch on Monday, January 7, 2008.

AUSTIN, Texas - The St. Edward's University Athletic Department has set the date for its annual NCAA Basketball take a Kid to the Game day for January 10, where they will host Newman in a doubleheader at the Recreation and Convocation Center. J.J. Jumper the official Basketball Mascot of the NCAA will also be in attendance for both games.
Area youth, 14 and under, are invited to attend this special event and receive a free ticket with the purchase of a full-priced adult ticket. Youth will have the opportunity to experience the college game-day atmosphere and some exciting action as they watch the Hilltoppers compete for a win over the Jets.
The women's game will start at 6 p.m., with the men's game to follow at 8 p.m.
St. Edward's is hosting one of more than 700 games that will be played across the nation as part of the Take a Kid to the Game (TAKG) program in its 11th season. The project is a grass roots initiative that attracts the nation's youth and encourages adults to take kids to area college basketball games.
Meetings of the Board are open to members of the Parish and to parents of children receiving their education under the auspices of the parish. The right of such non-Board members to address the Board shall be limited to those whose written or electronic (email) petition has been approved for the agenda 72 hours in advance of the meeting.
This Saturday, January 12, the local Knights of Columbus will hold a free throw contest. It will take place in the family center starting at 9:00 a.m. Girls and boys, ages 10 to 14 are eligible to enter. The top three shooters will advance to a diocesan wide competition. There is no need to register prior to Saturday, interested students just show up ready to shoot.
