Protecting God's Children, a workshop on child sexual abuse, will be held Saturday, August 9, 2008, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, in the Family Center. This workshop is part of the diocesan Ethics and Integrity in Ministry policies that were adopted in January 2002. Anyone-volunteers, paid staff or clergy-who serves minors or vulnerable adults in a parish, school or diocesan setting should attend one of these workshops. Please register ahead of time so that adequate material may be available by contacting th school office at 512-442-8547 or via email at school@st-ignatius-edu.org. You may inquire about childcare. Materials used in the workshop include testimonies from victims and perpetrators of sexual abuse. If you have any concerns regarding your attendance at the workshop, please contact Emily Hurlimann at (512) 697-2047 to arrange an alternative arrangement to receive your training. St. Ignatius, Martyr, Catholic Church is pleased to announce our new E-tithing program. This new services will allow you to is to set up a reoccurring payment on the day of your choice.
Payments can be set up on a weekly or monthly basis. This is an easy way to keep track of your tax deductible charitable donations.
