Adult Choir

Adult Choir

Provides a wide variety of music for the 9 a.m. Sunday Mass as well as extra seasonal celebrations and certain Holy Days. New members are welcomed and encouraged. During the seasons of Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter, the choir welcomes additional members able to keep a shorter term of commitment.

Requirements: Open to singers, ages high school through adult; ability to read music is a plus, but is not required; ability to sing in tune is expected.
Time Commitment: Rehearses each Wednesday (7:00-8:30 p.m.); meets Sundays at 8:30 a.m. to warm up and prepare for 9 a.m. Mass.

French Boys Choir

The French Boys Choir would like to come to our area to give a concert. However, they must first find a place to stay. The group is comprised of 20 boys ages 9-14 and 6 young men. They would need lodging for two nights. If you are interested in lodging this group for two nights, please call the church office, leaving your name, phone number and how many you could house.

Community Ministry News Feb. 24

Easter Triduum Festival Choir: The Easter Triduum Festival Choir will begin rehearsals from 7-8p.m. on Wednesdays, starting Wednesday, February 20th. The choir is open to all singers. Ability to read music is a plus, but not required. Singers must be able to carry a tune. We invite you to be a part of this wonderful ministry. THE PSALMS: class three, offered twice (once on Monday, February 25th morning and once on Wednesday, February 27th evening); co-facilitated by Rabbi Monty Eliasov, President of the Twelve Tribe Torah Institute and Rabbi of Congregation Shalom Rav in Austin, Texas, and Mike Richardson, a member of the St. Ignatius Martyr community active in the facilitation of Centering Prayer and other adult faith formation ministries; (see "NEW DATES" flyer in distribution racks). LADIES CLUB, Arts ‘n' Crafts Workshop: Our first workshop for this year is scheduled for Wednesday, February 27th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Fr. John Payne House. Once again we wish to invite those Ladies who wish to share their time and talents and ideas for completing handmade items of all kinds to be sold at the Fall Fest on Saturday, September 27th.
