Prayer Ministry In September

NOTE: These activities are now complete.
Personal Prayer Introductory Workshop seven one hour sessions, weekly, is beginning September 24th. Do you find regular daily one-on-one time with God in prayer hard to start and harder to keep going? Spend time with others acting on a shared intention to begin, maintain, enrich your personal prayer practice. See flyers available in distribution racks for more information. Also see the September issue of Pan Puro.
CENTERING PRAYER: Spend time in the silence acting on our shared intention to consent to God's presence within and action within. All are welcome, no experience necessary.
- Weekly Meetings: resume Tuesday, September 4th and Thursday, September 6th
- TUESDAYS, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. -- THURSDAYS, 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Are you a lost sheep? "Touched by His Healing Power", a weekly healing prayer and support group for adult Catholics, will begin its fall semester on Tuesday, September 4th and conclude on Tuesday, December 11th. Meetings are held every Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. (usually in the Fr. John Payne House) and a retreat will be held on Saturday, September 22nd. Through prayer, sacraments, scripture study and the loving support of group members, Jesus becomes our Good Shepherd, treating the emotional wounds that keep us from loving God and one another.
Attendance is required at all meetings, since each meeting builds on the one before it. For more information contact Patrice McGraw (443-7019) or Marie Alkis (280-0593). Pre-registration is required.
The GOD SEEKERS will continue their meetings every second and fourth Saturday at the Annex from 10 - 11:30 a.m. on September 8th. Though we usually pray the Office of the Hours and the Scriptural readings for the Sunday Mass, this time on September 8th we will pray the Nativity of Mary, Morning Prayer and Scriptural readings for that day and our teaching and meditation will be on Mary Praying.
