How will the CSA funds be used?
Funds will be used to support only those diocesan programs and ministries outlined in the case for support. No funds will be distributed to outside organizations or used for political purposes. 100% of your gift goes to these ministries and will not be used for legal fees, judgments or settlements.
What is the difference between the Catholic Services Appeal and the Encountering Christ Capital Campaign?
The CSA is an annual appeal that focuses on our immediate needs as a diocese and helps fund our ongoing operating expenses. The capital campaign is a long-range plan that looks to the future and goes beyond our immediate needs.
We ask our donors to prayerfully consider contributing to both. It is similar to planning family finances as you need to provide for day- to-day expenses as well as long range planning such as a college education for your children or participating in a retirement plan for the future.
