"New to the Austin area, Dr. Ashley Stone is a St. Ignatius Martyr parishioner and an Ob/Gyn resident physician who subscribes to all teachings of the Catholic Church regarding sexuality and reproduction. She believes that women deserve the best quality healthcare which includes proper education abouttheir bodies and respect for
their natural functions.
On Sunday May 22, Dr. Stone will be discussing why fertility awareness based methods (FABMs) are good for women's health. These are methods that contain knowledge that women have the right to know about themselves. She will discuss why it is beneficial to teenagers, single women, and married couples. She will also discuss Humanae Vitae, an encyclical written by Pope Paul VI which reaffirms the teachings of the Catholic Church regarding married love and responsible parenthood.
